Biography
Haji Obaidullah Sader Khail, an Afghan trader and a current ACB Board Member, was born on July 10, 1968, in Kunduz, Afghanistan. He completed his baccalaureate degree in 1986 at Habiba High School in Kunduz. His family has been engaged in the food business since 1975. After finishing his primary studies, Sader Khail joined his family in the business sector, where he worked to enhance and expand their activities throughout Afghanistan.
Mr. Sader Khail has over 30 years of experience in various business sectors. Throughout his career, he has established business activities in several countries, including the UAE, where he began investing in 2002. In 2005, he was elected vice president of the Afghan Business Council, where he played a crucial role in strengthening and developing the organization. He maintained positive commercial and economic relationships with other business sectors in the country. Due to his notable contributions to the organization's success, he was elected president of the Afghan Business Council in 2007. He has also significantly contributed to enhancing economic and social relationships between Afghanistan and the UAE, which has, in turn, helped improve the economic and trading landscape in Afghanistan.
Mr. Sader Khail is an active executive member of the commerce chambers and business councils in Afghanistan, Pakistan, the UAE, the USA, Canada, and the Netherlands. He has received a Business Matchmaking Award from the Afghan American Chamber of Commerce, along with appreciation certificates from various organizations, including the Australian-Afghanistan Business Council, the Parliament of Afghanistan, and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry, among others.
Haji Obaidullah Sader Khail aims to expand his business operations to different countries and create job opportunities for the people of Afghanistan. He views cricket as an effective tool for promoting peace and unity in the country, believing it plays a vital role in the development of the younger generation. As a board member of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, he is committed to creating more market opportunities for Afghan cricket and advancing the sport's development in Afghanistan.
