At the Afghanistan Cricket Board, we take great pride in our journey to enhance the stature of Afghan cricket on the global stage. Over the years, our unwavering commitment to excellence has yielded impressive results, which has highlighted our talent and resilience.

We have celebrated numerous achievements in our relatively brief cricketing history, contributing skilled and gifted players to the international arena. Additionally, both our senior and emerging cricket stars have made remarkable contributions to various franchise leagues.

From our start as a cricket federation to achieving full membership and establishing a successful cricket board, our remarkable journey in the cricketing world is truly distinctive.

Our development initiatives have been focused and results-driven. We have prioritized grassroots development, leading to the establishment of numerous academies across Afghanistan, fostering young talent and promoting cricket at every level. We are fortunate to maintain high-standard facilities across all regions, which are regularly upgraded to host our domestic cricket events, including First Class, List A, and T20 tournaments. Our Turf and Facility department diligently works to expand the number of academies and grounds nationwide, further nurturing the inherent talent emerging from various parts of the country.

The growth of our domestic cricket is on an upward trajectory, enabling us to identify and develop sharp youth talents who are consistently promoted to the national team as opportunities arise. Our domestic players are actively engaged within a well-structured cricketing framework, encompassing events at the club level, provincial grade level events, several multi-day events including a First Class Tournament, a Regional List A Tournament, Shpageeza Cricket League, National T20 Cup and the a 50-over Green Afghanistan One Day Cup.

We remain steadfast in our dedication to advancing cricket in Afghanistan and aspire to see our national team reach the pinnacle of international cricket on a global scale.
