The Afghanistan Cricket Board’s Domestic Cricket Department successfully conducted the first tournament of this year’s domestic cricket events. The Afghanistan Cricket Board has a very busy and match-packed domestic cricket calendar every year, which provides excellent opportunities for young domestic players and emerging talents to shine and progress. These opportunities are not limited to players from nearby provinces and regions; rather, any player who has a strong passion for cricket and possesses ability and hidden skills in the game can get a chance to emerge in these competitions through club level cricket.

The 17th Edition of the WAK Provincial Grade II Tournament Concluded

In accordance with the domestic cricket calendar of the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB), the 17th edition of the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Provincial Grade II Tournament was successfully held across four provinces of the country. This year’s competition featured the participation of 40 provincial teams, which were divided into eight groups. Each group competed internally, and the top team from each group qualified for the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Grade I Provincial Tournament.

The 10th edition of the Etisalat Shpageeza Cricket League 2025, powered by XBull Energy, was held from August 19 to 31 at the Kabul National Cricket Stadium in Kabul Province. After 21 games across 13 days, the Azmatullah Omarzai-led Amo Sharks were crowned champions for the second successive time, beating the Mis-e-Ainak Knights in the Grand Finale.

Super Cola Green Afghanistan One Day Cup Underway in Khost

The Green Afghanistan One Day Cup is a domestic cricket event introduced by the Afghanistan Cricket Board to enhance the quality of the game and promote the cultivation of plants & greenery in the country. The inaugural edition was held in May 2022 in Khost province, with the 2nd edition of the event is currently underway in Khost province.
