Kabul – November 25, 2025: The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has granted the Afghanistan Cricket Board the hosting rights for the DP World Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025, to be held in the United Arab Emirates from December 12 to 21, 2025.
The tournament has long been one of the ACC’s most significant
developmental pillars, serving as the premier platform where Asia’s brightest
young talents first compete at a high-performance, international level.
This marks a historic milestone for the Afghanistan Cricket Board,
reaffirming its emergence as a leading cricketing nation in Asia and its
unwavering commitment to the growth of the sport. Hosting this prestigious
youth tournament stands as a testament to Afghanistan’s organisational ability,
its growing talent pool, and its continued contribution to global cricket.
Speaking on the announcement, ACC President Mr Mohsin Naqvi said: “The
ACC is delighted to partner with the Afghanistan Cricket Board for the DP World
Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025. This tournament plays a vital role in shaping Asia’s

Tournament Overview: The DP World Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 will feature Asia’s top youth cricketers, divided playing in two groups. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals, and the winners of the two semifinalists will play in the final for the championship. All matches will be hosted across two premier Dubai venues: ICC Academy Oval and Sevens Stadium.
