Kabul – November 30, 2025: The final match of the Youth Triangular Series between Afghanistan U19 and India A U19 has been called off due to persistent rain in Bengaluru, which resulted in both teams sharing the trophy for the Youth Triangular Series 2025.
The match was scheduled to start at 8:00 AM
(AFT) this morning; however, rain delays in Bengaluru halted the proceedings.
After several inspections and a wait of nearly four hours, conditions finally
improved enough for a toss, which took place at 11:45 AM (AFT), after the game
officially commenced at 12:15 PM.
Afghanistan Future Stars won the toss and
opted to bowl first. The bowlers proved their captain spot on as they reduced
the home side to 22/3 in 7 overs and then to 79/5 after 19 overs, before the
rain returned to play spoilsport and once again interrupt the game.
The match never resumed, as it was called off
due to persistent rain. The officials decided that both teams would share the
trophy for the Youth Triangular Series 2025.
Abdul Aziz Khan was awarded the Best Player
of the Series for taking 13 wickets during the series.
