Kabul – November 29, 2025: Afghanistan Future Stars have put on a terrific all-round performance as they beat the India A U19 Team for the second time in the series and register their third victory in the Youth Triangular Series 2025.
The home side won the toss and opted to bat
first. Azizullah Miakhil (60) and the skipper, Mahboob Khan Taskin (50) scored
half-centuries, whereas the top-order batter, Khalid Ahmadzai (30) and the
all-rounder Nasratullah Nuristani (28*) contributed with important runs as the
Afghanistan Future Stars posted 233/8 runs on the board in the first inning.
In defence, Afghan Zwanan delivered on yet
another fantastic bowling effort to bundle the India A U19 Team for 168 runs
and win the game by 65 runs. Salam Khan Ahmadzai (3/35) was once again
impressive with the ball as he picked up yet another three-wicket haul.
Rohullah Arab (3/34), playing his first game in the series, and the fast
bowling regular, Abdul Aziz Khan (3/48), also stepped up in the second inning
by picking up three wickets each, which helped Afghanistan cross the winning
line and register a 65-run victory, their third in the Youth Triangular Series.
The skipper, Mahboob Khan, who scored a
half-century in the first inning and led the team to its third victory in the
series, was awarded the Player of the Match.
Afghanistan Future Stars will now face India A
U19 Team in the final of the series on Sunday, November 30, at the BCCI CoE,
Bengaluru.
