The match was played at the Ghazi
Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground in Nangarhar Province where Maiwand Champions won
the toss and elected to bowl first.
Pamir Legends batted first and
were bowled out for 110 runs. Ikram Alikhel was the only batter to make a
significant contribution, remaining unbeaten on 61. For Maiwand Champions,
Nijat Masood, Saleem Safi, and Khalil Gurbaz bowled impressively, taking 4, 3,
and 3 wickets respectively.
In reply, Maiwand Champions
produced a strong batting performance and scored 338 runs before being bowled
out, taking a first-innings lead of 228 runs. Asghar Atal scored 97, while
captain Afsar Zazai contributed 86 runs.
For Pamir Legends, Samiullah
Sarmast claimed 5 wickets, Fareed Malik and Zahir Khan took 2 wickets each, and
Salam Khan picked up 1 wicket.
Trailing by 228 runs, Pamir
Legends were bowled out for 187 in their second innings. Bilal Tareen was their
top scorer with 58 runs. As a result, Maiwand Champions secured victory by an
