Nangarhar – May 23, 2026: The Mis-e-Ainak Regional Team has put on an incredible performance to beat the Amo Region by 35 runs and register their first victory in the e& Regional List A Tournament 2026, powered by Super Cola.

Earlier in the morning, the Amo Region won the toss and put the Mis-e-Ainak Region into bat first. Khalid Taniwal (100) scored a hundred, whereas Shahidullah Kamal (56), Rahmanullah Gurbaz (41), Asghar Atal (39) and Abdullah Tarakhil (33*) chipped in with important runs each as they pushed the Mis-e-Ainak Region to post 297/8 runs on the board in the first inning. Gulbadin Naib (3/49), Abdul Malik (2/24), Izharulhaq Naveed (2/64), and Mohammad Nabi Miakhil (1/52) shared the wickets among them.

In reply, the Amo Region got themselves into a very promising start but kept losing wickets at regular intervals to get bundled out for 262/9 runs at the end of their inning, falling short by 35 runs. Their skipper, Gulbadin Naib (70) put on a fighting knock after Kiramatullah (38), Imran Mir (32) and Abdul Malik (26) chipped in with good starts each but failed to chase down the total.

For the Mis-e-Ainak Region, Shahidullah Kamal (2/30) and Mohammad Gul Alizai (2/41) picked up two wickets each, whereas Rahmanullah Gurbaz (1/6), Mohammad Younus Zadran (1/35), and Abdullah Tarakhil (1/57) bagged one wicket each. Khalid Taniwal (100) was awarded the Player of the Match award.

Match 8 of the e& Regional List A Tournament 2026, powered by SuperCola, will see the hosts, Speenghar Region, taking on the Bost Region at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground in Nangarhar province.
