Khost – July 14: 2026: The Speenghar Tigers have strengthened their position at the top of the SCLXI table with a thumping victory over the Bost Defenders before the Mis-e-Ainak Knights, led by Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s second successive hundred, outplayed the Band-e-Amir Dragons and closed their SCLXI journey with a commanding victory.

Earlier in the morning, the Speenghar Tigers won the toss and opted to field first. After being put into bat first, the Bost Defenders put on a dismal batting effort and managed to post 143/10 runs on the board in the first inning. Hazratullah Zazai (40) and Abdullah Tarakhil (33) chipped in with some runs, but the show in the first inning was stolen by Zaitullah Shaheen (3/14), Ijaz Ul Haq (2/22), Zahir Khan (2/23), and Fahim Qasimi (2/46).

Ismat Alam (46*), Zubaid Akbari (32) and Bahir Shah (30*) made light work of the chase with some terrific batting as they outplayed the Bost Defenders to complete their 6th victory in the e& Shpageeza Cricket League 2026, powered by SuperCola.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz produced yet another scintillating display of power-hitting, bringing up his second consecutive century in the SCLXI off just 39 balls against the Band-e-Amir Dragons.

It is Gurbaz's fourth T20 century and the second-fastest hundred in SCL's history, surpassed only by his own 36-ball century just a day earlier.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz (102) scored a second successive hundred, whereas Khalid Taniwal (34), Wafiullah Tarakhil (33) and Emal Shaheen (24) chipped in with crucial runs to help the Mis-e-Ainak Knights post 222/5 runs on the board in the first inning. Farmanullah Safi (2/26) was the standout bowler for the Dragons. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was named Player of the Match for his outstanding batting performance.

With this happening, the Speenghar Tigers and the Amo Sharks have successfully finished as the top two teams in the round-robin stage to make the Grand Finale of the SCLXI, which will be played tomorrow at 9:30 AM (AFT) at the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Ground in Khost province.
