Kabul – May 09, 2026: The ninth edition of the e& Regional List A Tournament 2026, powered by SuperCola, is set to begin on May 17, 2026. This event will feature five regional teams competing in a round-robin format from May 17 to June 4 across two venues in Nangarhar province.

The tournament will kick off with the defending champions, Mis-e-Ainak Region, facing the Band-e-Amir Region on May 17 at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground. The other three participants, the Speenghar Region, Amo Region and the Bost Region, will also be vying for the title. Each participating team will play six matches in the round-robin stage, and a total of 16 matches will be played over 14 days, with the final being scheduled for June 4.

This year's tournament will take place in two phases, with the Eid Ul Adha holidays in between. The pre-Eid phase will be held at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground from May 17 to 25. The post-Eid phase will also feature the Najibullah Taraki Cricket Ground, alongside the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground, from May 30 to June 4. All matches at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground will be broadcast live.

This tournament will feature a majority of central and domestic double-contracted players, as well as outstanding domestic talents. This provides the Afghanistan Cricket Board with an opportunity to offer valuable exposure and excellent playing prospects for young and emerging cricketers.

Etisalat has secured the title sponsorship rights for the event and will promote their e& brand. Additionally, Super Cola Beverages Manufacturing Company has been granted the "powered by" sponsorship rights as part of a long-term agreement. Consequently, the event will be named the “e& Regional List A Tournament 2026, powered by SuperCola”.

As a crucial part of Afghanistan's domestic cricket structure, the Regional List A Tournament plays a significant role in the development of players and the growth of cricket in the country.
