The Bost Defenders have fought back tremendously well to defend 57 off the last 9 overs to go past the Knights by 18 runs, before the Amo Sharks make their way to a comfortable 33-run DLS victory over the Band-e-Amir Dragons, completing their fourth victory in the e& Shpageeza Cricket League 2026, powered by SuperCola.
Bost Defenders faced the Mis-e-Ainak Knights in the morning game, with
the latter winning the toss and opting to bowl first. Najibullah Zadran (55*)
scored a brilliant half-century, whereas Akbar Musazai (41*), Karim Janat (32),
Ibrahim Zadran (31) and Javed Ahmadzai (23) chipped in with crucial
contributions as the Bost Defenders posted 191/3 runs on the board in the first
inning.
In Response, Rahmanullah Gurbaz sat the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket
Ground on fire and brought up an explosive half-century, off just 14 balls,
which was marked as the fastest half-century in the history of the Shpageeza
Cricket League.
Despite batting carnage from Rahmanullah Gurbaz and conceding 135 runs
in the first 11 overs, the Bost Defenders have fought back impressively well to
defend 57 runs in the next 9 overs to beat the Mis-e-Ainak Knights by 18 runs
and register their second victory in the e& Shpageeza Cricket League 2026,
powered by SuperCola. Abdullah Tarakhil was the star of the day with
match-turning figures of 5/32 in the second inning and was awarded Player of
the Match.
Later in the day, the Amo Sharks faced the Band-e-Amir Dragons in the
11th game of the event. Amo Sharks won the toss and decided to bat first. The
first inning was interrupted due to strong wind, and after almost an hour's
delay, the game was reduced to 17 overs per side.
The Amo Sharks then put 169/8 runs on the board in the first inning,
with major contributions coming from Hassan Eisakhil (37), Imran Mir (33),
Keramatullah (23), Shahidullah (22), and Saleem Safi; playing for the
Band-e-Amir Dragons, on the other hand, returned with figures of 4/40, while
Samiullah Sarmast picked up 2/29.
The Amo Sharks, led by bowling heroics from Abdullah Ahmadzai (4/38)
and Yamin Ahmadzai (3/32), have put on a terrific bowling effort to defend
their total and register their 4th victory in the e& Shpageeza Cricket

Match.
