The Speenghar Tigers have topped the table by going past the Amo Sharks comprehensively by 26 runs in the afternoon game, after the Bost Defenders put on a brilliant run-chase to get their first two points and hand the Band-e-Amir Dragons their 4th consecutive loss in the e& Shpageeza Cricket League 2026, powered by SuperCola.

After being put into bat first, Sediqullah Atal scored a maiden hundred in T20s and was supported by Haroon Khan (31) and the skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi (25), as the Band-e-Amir Dragons posted a mammoth total of 194/5 at the end of the first inning.

In response, Najibullah Zadran (55) scored a brilliant half-century, whereas Asif Musazai (40), Karim Janat (31), Akbar Musazai (27) and Abdullah Tarakhil (12*) chipped in with incredible contributions to help the Bost Defenders chase down the 195-run target by 3 wickets with 1 delivery to spare. Najibullah Zadran was awarded player of the match for his incredible batting effort.

The second game of the day saw the Speenghar Tigers taking on the Amo Sharks. The Speenghar Tigers won the toss and decided to bat first and then went on to post a huge total of 227/7 runs on the board in the first inning, with major contributions coming in from the centurion Mohammad Akram (103) and Zubaid Akbari (70).

The Speenghar Tigers then backed up their excellent batting effort with an even better bowling performance, as they beat the Amo Sharks by 26 runs for their third successive victory in the event. Zahir Khan and Zubaid Akbari picked up three wickets, Rashid Khan bagged two, whereas Faridoon Dawoodzai and Ismat Alam returned with one wicket each. Mohammad Akram was awarded the Player of the Match for his terrific batting performance.

On Day 6 of the matches, the Mis-e-Ainak Knights will meet the Bost Defenders in the morning match, whereas the Speenghar Tigers will face the Band-e-Amir Dragons in the afternoon game of the day.
