On the 11th day of the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Provincial Grade II Tournament, only one match was held at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Ground in Nangarhar, where Nangarhar A faced Sar-e-Pul and secured a dominant victory against them, winning by a margin of 227 runs.
Nangarhar A batted first and set a target of 360 runs. Their top scorers
were Farmanullah with 127 runs, Parwiz Malakzai with 110, Zabihullah with 43
and Abdul Majid with 38. For Sar-e-Pul, Mohibullah, Imran, and Mohib Salarzai
each took one wicket.
Sar-e-Pul were unable to chase the target and were bowled out for only
132 runs in 29.3 overs. Mohibullah Salarzai scored 44 and Salahuddin added 27,
but their efforts were not enough to save the team from defeat.
For Nangarhar A, Hayat Noori took 5 wickets and Baberzai Shirzad took 2,
helping secure their team's win.
It is worth noting that Farmanullah, one of Nangarhar A’s outstanding
performers who scored 127 runs, was awarded Player of the Match.
In conclusion, it is announced that tomorrow, on the 12th day of the
Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Provincial Grade II Tournament, 10 teams will compete
