Khost – July 2, 2026: Amo Sharks continue to put in a remarkable show as they went past the Bost Defenders comprehensively, before the Speenghar Tigers put in a clinical performance to outplay the Band-e-Amir Dragons and start their journey in this year’s Shpageeza Cricket League with an impressive victory.

Khost – July 2, 2026: Amo Sharks continue to put in a remarkable show as they went past the Bost Defenders comprehensively, before the Speenghar Tigers put in a clinical performance to outplay the Band-e-Amir Dragons and start their journey in this year’s Shpageeza Cricket League with an impressive victory.

Earlier in the morning, the Amo Sharks won the toss in the morning match and opted to bowl first. The skipper Yamin Ahmadzai (3/14) and Gulbadin Naib (3/31) starred with the ball to reduce the Bost Defenders to 153/10 runs in the first inning. Najibullah Zadran (45), Shams Ur Rahman (27) and Ibrahim Zadran (23) were the top scorers for the Bost Defenders.

In reply, the defending champions continued to extend their winning streak in pursuit of title defense, as they chased down the Bost Defenders' total by 5 wickets to complete their second successive victory in the 11th edition of the e& Shpageeza Cricket League 2026, powered by SuperCola. Yamin Ahmadzai was named Player of the Match for his terrific bowling.

Speenghar Tigers won the toss in the afternoon and decided to bat first against the Band-e-Amir Dragons. After opting to bat first, the Speenghar Tigers posted 180/7 runs on the board in the first inning, with major contributions coming from Mohammad Akram (79), Islam Alam (49), and Zubaid Akbari (23).

The Speenghar Tigers have backed up their incredible batting with an outstanding bowling effort as well, as they registered an impressive 22-run victory over the Band-e-Amir Dragons, courtesy of an all-round bowling display. Mohammad Akram was named Player of the Match for his top-class batting effort.

Day 5 of the competition will see the Mis-e-Ainak Knights facing off against the Band-e-Amir Dragons in the 5th match of the tournament.
