Kandahar-A & Domestic-XI 2 Win their matches on Day 12 of WAK Grade 1 Provincial Tournament

In the ongoing Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Grade 1 Provincial Tournament, two matches were played today. At the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Ground in Khost, Kandahar-A defeated ACB-XI by 7 wickets, while at the Najibullah Tarakai Cricket Ground in Nangarhar, Domestic-XI 2 beat Logar by 55 runs.

In the ongoing Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Grade 1 Provincial Tournament, two matches were played today. At the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Ground in Khost, Kandahar-A defeated ACB-XI by 7 wickets, while at the Najibullah Tarakai Cricket Ground in Nangarhar, Domestic-XI 2 beat Logar by 55 runs.

In the match between Logar and Domestic-XI 2, Domestic-XI 2 batted first and set a target of 272 runs. Sohrab Amiri scored 70 runs, Ziauddin Sharifi made 65, and Syed Jalal Hashmi remained unbeaten on 43. For Logar, Mohammadullah Logari and Akbar Ahmadzai each took two wickets.

In reply, Logar team were bowled out for 216 runs, losing the match by 55 runs. Sohail Khan scored 94, Ezat Noor added 51, and Mansoor Khan made 38. For Domestic-XI 2, Javed Saeedi took five wickets, while Hamid Hotak and Sayed Jalal Hashmi claimed two wickets each.

Domestic-XI 2 bowler Javid Saeedi was named Player of the Match for his five-wicket haul.

In the second match between Kandahar-A and AC-XI, Kandahar-A secured a 7-wicket victory. Batting first, AC-XI posted 145 runs, with Sediq Pacha scoring 54 and Rahat Andar contributing 25. Kandahar-A bowlers Sami Sarmast took five wickets and Ahmad Wali Seyal claimed three.

Kandahar-A chased down the target in the 19th over, losing three wickets. Noman Shah scored 56, Jalal Ahmad made 34, and Bilal Ahmad added 24 runs. For AC-XI, Sharifullah, Rahmatullah, and Sediq Pacha each took one wicket.

Kandahar-A fast bowler Sami Sarmast was named Player of the Match for his five-wicket haul performance.

It is worth noting that the tournament will continue tomorrow with the matches between Kabul-A and Chairman-XI at the Najibullah Tarakai Cricket Ground in Nangarhar, and Khost and Paktika at the Rahmat Wali Masroor Cricket Ground in Khost.
