Kunduz – May 12, 2026: The Mis-e-Ainak Region went past the Bost Region comprehensively in the morning game to secure the top two spot and make it to the final, whereas the Band-e-Amir and Amo Region have put the Kunduz Cricket Ground on fire with a terrific performance to set up a Super Over, which ultimately ended in Band-e-Amir Region’s favor.

Kunduz – May 12, 2026: The Mis-e-Ainak Region went past the Bost Region comprehensively in the morning game to secure the top two spot and make it to the final, whereas the Band-e-Amir and Amo Region have put the Kunduz Cricket Ground on fire with a terrific performance to set up a Super Over, which ultimately ended in Band-e-Amir Region’s favor.

The Bost Region won the toss in the morning and decided to bat first. Noman Shah (94) fell short of what could have been a terrific century, whereas Sabir Hanif (27) and Saif Nangial (23) chipped in with important runs as they pushed the Bost Region to post 184/4 runs on the board in the first inning.

In reply, the Mis-e-Ainak Region has put on a terrific batting performance to chase down the total by 6 wickets and qualify for the final of the event by registering their 5th victory in the e& National T20 Cup 2026. Ziauddin Sharifi (45), Ijaz Ahmadzai (39*), Khalid Taniwal (33), and Emal Shaheen (32*) were the major contributors with the bat. Ziauddin was named the Player of the Match.

In the afternoon game, the Band-e-Amir Region and the Amo region locked horns against each other. Amo Region won the toss and opted to bat first. Javed Ahmadzai (61) scored a half-century, whereas Imran Mir (42) and Mohammad Akram (33*) chipped in with important runs as the Amo Region posted 189/8 runs on the board in the first inning. Rahmatullah Kharoti (3/20) and Izharulhaq Naveed (2/24) were the pick of the bowlers for the Band-e-Amir Region.

In reply, the Band-e-Amir Region, banking on Sediqullah Pacha’s (49) exploits, and valuable contributions from Sohail Khan (45) and Muslim Musa (35), took the game to a lie and sat up for a Super Over against the Amo Region. Then they held their nerves and delivered an outstanding all-round performance to beat the Amo Region in the Super Over and finish their journey with a winning note. Rahmatullah Kharoti was named Player of the Match.

This marks the end of the double-round robin stage of the tournament, and up next comes the final of the event, where the Mis-e-Ainak Region will face the Bost Region tomorrow at 9:00 AM (AFT) at the Kunduz Cricket Ground.
