On the 14th day of the Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Provincial Grade II tournament, Nangarhar A and Kunduz faced each other at the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Stadium in Nangarhar. As a result, Nangarhar A defeated the opposing team by 27 runs.
In this match, Nangarhar A won
the toss and elected to bat first. They set a target of 240 runs for Kunduz A
in all 45 overs. Among the Nangarhar batsmen, Abdul Majid scored 66 runs, Usman
Younas 40, Ziaurrahman 36, and Saheb 34.
On the bowling side for Kunduz, only Gul Noor Mughal was successful with taking
2 wickets.
While chasing the target, the
Kunduz team was bowled out for 212 runs, falling short and losing the match. In
Kunduz’s batting lineup, Zabiullah scored 58 runs, Nemat Khan 49, and Shoaib
Noori 39. For Nangarhar A, Hayat Noori and Shamali each took two wickets,
contributing significantly to their team’s victory.
It is worth mentioning that Abdul
Majid, one of Nangarhar A’s key players and team captain, was named Player of
the Match for his outstanding 66-run performance.

tomorrow, the following matches will take place in the Provincial Grade II tournament:
- At Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Stadium in Nangarhar,
Nooristan will face Paktika.
- At Kandahar Cricket Ground, Herat will play against
Laghman.

will meet Nimroz.
